Three Haiku

Snow

Snow on the ground still
Will melt completely and disappear
Leaving the quail homeless.

Birds

Small birds eating seed
Left behind for them to find
Seem utterly unaware.

Frost

Frost filled trees dropping
Their snowy loads for all to see
Their fallen broken bones.
